Privacy notice

How we use your information.

Last updated: 2 August 2026

Who we are

Nhaka Yemhuri Ventures, trading as Noverane, is the data controller for the personal information described in this notice. You can contact us about privacy or exercise your rights at hello@noverane.com.

Information we collect

When you apply to work with us, we collect your name, email address, creator handle, primary platform and the information you choose to provide about your goals. We also receive limited technical information needed to operate and secure the website, such as request and security logs.

Please do not submit identity documents, payment information, health information or explicit personal details through the application form.

Why we use it

We use application information to review your enquiry, assess whether there may be a fit, contact you and protect the application process from misuse. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to prospective creators and operating Noverane. If we begin working together, we may also process information where necessary to take steps at your request before entering into, and then performing, a contract.

We do not use the application form to add you to a marketing list, and we do not make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.

Who processes it

We use service providers for website hosting, secure data storage, domain services and business email. These currently include OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare for hosting and application storage, DreamHost for domain services, and Google Workspace for email and communications. They process information only to provide their services to us and under their own security and data-protection obligations.

Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where required, we rely on recognised safeguards such as adequacy regulations or approved contractual protections.

How long we keep it

Applications that do not lead to a working relationship are kept for no longer than six months, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or we need to retain limited information to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. If we work together, relevant business records are retained for the relationship and afterwards only for the periods required for contractual, tax and legal purposes.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct or erase your information, restrict its use, receive a portable copy, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. To exercise a right, email hello@noverane.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

You have the right to object to our use of your personal information where we rely on legitimate interests.

If you are unhappy with how we use your information, please contact us first. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

Cookies and website measurement

We do not currently use advertising cookies, behavioural tracking or non-essential analytics cookies. The hosting service may use essential security and load-balancing technologies needed to deliver the site. Because we do not currently set non-essential cookies, the site does not display a consent banner. We will update this notice and introduce consent controls before adding non-essential tracking.

Changes

We may update this notice as the site or our services change. The date above shows when it was last revised.
